How can the mayor talk like that? People are suffering every single day, and he speaks as if he’s living in a different country. He’s out here talking about cleanliness, judging a man for coming into town without “clean clothes,” almost mocking anyone who looks poor. Has he forgotten why people look the way they do? It’s because of the hyperinflation and economic collapse created by the same government and local officials he represents. So forgive us if we can’t afford to look polished or “presentable.” This economy has beaten people down like a relentless virus — one that feels impossible to cure. That’s why it’s so shocking to hear him speak the way he does. He has no clue about the real situation on the ground, the pain people are living with, the impossible choices they make, and the daily suffering the majority of Zimbabweans face because of poor management and failed leadership.

l am from harare and honestly harare city is dirty veduwe. Bulawayo is clean. the city council workers are overwhelmed by the population and people who do not care keeping the city clean. bvisai varikugocha chibage muna 1st street.
