@throwbackyoutubevideos: Dumb Ways to Die is an Australian safety campaign launched in 2012 by Metro Trains Melbourne. Its goal was to raise awareness about railway safety in a fun and memorable way The original video features a musical animation with colorful and cute characters who die in absurd and funny ways, such as sticking forks into toasters or teasing bears. In the end, the song delivers the main message: standing too close to train tracks can be deadly The campaign quickly went viral on YouTube, reaching millions of views. Its success was so great that, in 2013, a mobile game called Dumb Ways to Die was released, where players must save the characters from silly accidents #2012 #dumb #ways #to #die
