it could be anxiety related. try taking a home blood pressure with an automatic cuff! mine is like 110/70 at home and then 140/80 at the doctor’s bc of white coat syndrome lol

I have chronic hypertension so I’m on meds, but at home it’ll be below 120 if I go to the dr it’s over 130 I 100% get white coat syndrome 😂

I had this problem too ,it would always be high at doctors 🥼 office, but checking at home , it was better, until the anxiety catches you at home and eventually, you scare yourself into real hypertension and two months of adrenaline. The blood pressure machine is a great useful tool, but use it with wrong mindset, it’s a ouija board

So mine is always high when they do the machine, but manually (with a stethoscope) it's much lower. For example, I just went today & it was like 156, they did it manually & it was 126. I also have anxiety & especially health related, so doctors make me nervous.

Guys, it can be stress but I would recommend taking deep breaths and relax before the assistant and/or doctor measures your BP thankfully after 4 years my BP is back to normal
