For me it's Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing Missouri. NO ONE ever talks about that movie and I think about it daily. Such a good, important film and it went under the radar cause that same year Shape Of Water came out

For every wlw out there I cannot recommend The Handmaiden enough!!! It’s a South Korean masterpiece from 2018. Stunning directing, beautiful acting, interesting story and it has a genuine happy ending which is so so rare in wlw movies. I know not everyone likes foreign language movies, and it’s pretty long, but I PROMISE it’s worth it.

Mine is The Neon Demon by Nicholas Winding Refn. Such a beautiful movie but disturbing. Or also Melancholia by Lars von Trier Also, this is the reason why I'm so sad that horror movies rarely get their flowers just because they don't have universal appeal.

I loved Your Monster! Oh this is definitely how I feel about Cuckoo. I went in thinking it was be a fun horror romp with Hunter Schafer and had no clue I was gonna be a sobbing mess by the end. It was a beautiful film about dealing with grief and the fight for women’s autonomy over our own bodies. And then no one saw it.. I made my friends watch it on my birthday lol
