For me it's Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing Missouri. NO ONE ever talks about that movie and I think about it daily. Such a good, important film and it went under the radar cause that same year Shape Of Water came out

For every wlw out there I cannot recommend The Handmaiden enough!!! It’s a South Korean masterpiece from 2018. Stunning directing, beautiful acting, interesting story and it has a genuine happy ending which is so so rare in wlw movies. I know not everyone likes foreign language movies, and it’s pretty long, but I PROMISE it’s worth it.

Mine is The Neon Demon by Nicholas Winding Refn. Such a beautiful movie but disturbing. Or also Melancholia by Lars von Trier Also, this is the reason why I'm so sad that horror movies rarely get their flowers just because they don't have universal appeal.

I am still mourning the fact that Your Monster still does not have a physical release. I saw it with my partner before she gave birth and it was our favorite film of 2024. It’s so cute and we loved the message.
