I lived this for 9 years from 1999 to 2006. The verbal abuse led to severe physical abuse ending in sa at knife point. I pressed charges that year and after a trial he was found guilty and given an ipp, to do a minimum of 5 years before his 1st parole hearing and to be reviewed every 2 years until he is no longer considered a threat to myself or the public. He is still in prison. This April will be his 20th year locked up.
