I’m a paramedic and will NEVER let my children play football of any kind. In my 12 years, I’ve taken dozens of kids to the hospital from football injuries. I worked at the Ralph as an EMT for 6 years prior to that…. Never ever ever

He plays for my son’s team, For the montebello Indians. He’s doing a lot better he was in the hospital for a few days but he’s finally home.

My son and I are in the ambulance. His best friend ran 2 miles to the hospital. The team and coaches showed up at the hospital until we knew that my son was ok. Above all football teaches love and respect, how to be a family and what matters most. I kept this picture on the fridge and every time my son came home after a tough practice or game saying a player or coach hated him I had him look at this and remember that actually he was a beloved family member

My son has played tackle football for 9 years. I cannot wait until November when I can stop worrying (never had a known head injury). It’s not worth it

Permanente brain trauma and injury is not with it. At that stage their brains are still developing. Not worth it for a high school sport.
