Maybe put some on a boar bristle brush and brush through? The bristles might distribute it better than just a regular brush?

I pump it with my chin on to the back of my hand then I rub it on my wrists and run it through my hair that way:)

if you have someone put it into a small spray bottle of water, you can spray the water/oil instead the brush. then brush your hair.
