The last time I left candy out I watched a mom telling her kid to just dump the whole bowl in his bag after he tried to just take a couple pieces. You could hear him trying to tell her “then no one else will get any” and her say “sucks for them”. People suck

the last 4 years we've only had 3-5 knocks on our door each halloween. so many schools do trunk-or-treats now that traditional trick-or-treating is pretty much dead.

One year I left out candy so I could take my little kids trick or treating and a very tall person not only stole all the candy but also took my bowl 😂

I sit on the porch with my cat and give out candy, had a little kid complain that teens/young adults were getting candy too and i shut that down with “theyre making good financial decisions getting free stuff”

I honestly don’t mind if kids do this. I’m unable to hand out candy the traditional way so I put out candy and refill the bowl every 30 min or so until I run out, then I just turn the lights out. Idk, the kids are getting plenty even if it’s not from me bc one kid took it all. Truly doesn’t seem like anyone gets hurt at the end of the day. If you want to control the amount you have to plan to hand it out yourself. Also please don’t post minors on social media without their parent’s permission 💚
