You can tell how authentic he is when the server came to check he said it was good however the curry taste familliar like an asian curry. Honest reviews like this are rare. keep it up♥

Zanzibar (and the rest of East/South Africa) was a hub of spices during the spice trade with a lot of Indian and Middle Eastern settlers - hence why the food tastes very “Indian” or “Middle Eastern”

Yes, you are right. It's an Indian mutton curry with rice. Nothing special and doesn't look and taste African. Price is exorbitant. Should try other dish.
