Esthetician here: A chemical peel at a Doctors office wouldn't remove that much skin. The reason it beads up like that is because of the PH on your skin and the formula combined. It's not dead skin coming off.

if you rub it in the middle of your palm or the bottom of your feet where there's no pores you will get the same results, even on your pots and pans, the product just clumps when it's rubbed.

For those that are like "it's just the product". It gets the dead skin that's left behind, not fully cleaning out your pores. I've bought the non-turmeric set and it works amazingly for dead skin. I can even SEE the dead skin on my calluses on my hands 'lift up'.

This is a false product. Nothing against the seller here, but this is not her impurities. The product beads up on its own. Now, yes it does exfoliate and brighten.
