ngl, some women are just mentally weak and cannot maintain a relationship or even endure hardship. I'm not talking abt cheating or abuse. Bc really and truly, this whole "mentally clocked out" thing is just bs and selfish. Especially if you were only in a relationship for like 1 year to 2 years. How can you manage a marriage for 20+ years then?

It’s tough because sometimes the guy doesn’t know. For example I did the flowers and nice expensive dates the same month it happened and it just shows I still was trying hard. It’d be different if I didn’t do anything.

Then why would she not just tell him whats wrong or what the problem is so that he can tey to work on it or fix it. How is he supposed to know that something is wrong if she doesn't communicate that??

I’m sorry but with some people this just isn’t true. There are certain people that have a terrible way of communicating or refuse to communicate their fears (and I mean big fears). This is why the term “cold feet” exists or why people get jilted at the altar. These are fears and issues that aren’t properly communicated. Not just “I wish he washed the dishes a bit more often”.

I just wish she would’ve talked to me about it, a relationship is about communication. Yet she just bottled everything up instead of sitting me down and telling me what’s going on. I would go to the moon and back for that girl, all she had to do was just ask. I’m working on changing these things now, it’s been two weeks and I’ve made a lot of progress.
