FYI to anyone asking. Yes I washed the hair with shampoo after processing with the lightener. I did not think to say the word "shampoo" when I said I was "washing the hair in the K Cup at the sink" because I thought it was just a given that after a lightening service we always shampoo the hair, plus that's part of the instructions for using it during a lightening service.

When you sprayed the k18 hair mist before lightening, did bleach work over the spray without washing it off mist first and can I do same with applying toner over k18 mist spray?

i’m wondering if you followed the instructions to the T, how you managed skipping the shampoo? My understanding is that shampooing lifts the cuticle to allow for the K18 to enter the hair.
