Fatimah bint al-Mundhir was one of Madinah’s greatest female scholars Amrah bint Abd al-Rahman was a leading scholar of Madinah and a direct student of Aisha (RA) — she preserved and taught Aisha’s hadiths, and even male judges and rulers sought her verdicts. The Caliph ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz said, “If you want to learn the hadiths of Aisha, go to Amrah.” Women in Islam can teach & speak publicly as long as they do so with modesty, respect, and within Islamic manners.
