It’s such an affordable and convenient way to get oily fish into your diet and there’s never any waste 👌— With all of us feeling the increase in food prices, this is one swap that makes total sense. A lot of people aren’t getting enough Omega-3 fatty acids in their diet and that’s where oily tinned fish like mackerel or sardines can be a brilliant way to up your omega-3 intake. Mackerel is my favourite — and I always have a few tins in the cupboard for those days when the fridge is empty so I can easily throw together a healthy dinner (I have a gorgeous tinned mackerel, tomato & olive pasta recipe in my book and it’s so quick and easy 🙌) So if you’ve been walking past the tinned fish aisle — this is your sign to give it another look 🫶 Do you eat tinned fish?
