Attorney here. Regardless of heel height, you want a platform. Platform is key. You need a nice chunk under the ball of the foot. Jessica Simpson (yes I’m serious) makes my favorite court heels. They’re high, but she does most of her shoes with platforms.

Sam Edelman and I always go one size up because your feet are going to swell after being in heels for a long time or you could do a half size up if you prefer
