@zoeindiya: This may not be something you all want to hear… but it is necessary because it’s the truth! 1. You need to be in a caloric deficit to lose fat, but you need to be eating slightly above maintenance to build muscle. I know this may seem a bit confusing and contradicting so let me break it down a little bit. The only way you can lose fat while building muscle is if you are a beginner/restarting your fitness journey after a while or are very overweight. If you aren’t sitting at any of these areas, then the only way to achieve your goal of losing fat while growing your glutes is starting off with a cut (caloric deficit) to lose a fat, and then start the next cycle of a slight surplus to build a muscle! *scienceeee* lol 2. LIFT. HEAVY. WEIGHTS. Now, some of us naturally have fat cheeks that were blessed with, but once we start to lose the fat, that fat will also go away 😂 unfortunately. So the goal here is to lift and sculpt. For example, exercises you need to be doing consistently for glute growth are hip thrusts, Bulgarian split squats, Romanian dead lifts, glute bridges, glute kick backs, and abduction exercises. (you really can sculpt your body… It’s actually crazy lol) 3. This doesn’t happen overnight. You have to train for it. You have to stay consistent. You have to make sure that you’re going into each phase properly. you have to EAT. You have to stay disciplined. Something like this can definitely be achieved. I’ve done it, my clients have done it. You just have to trust the process in the stay the course!!
