Mine only does the chattering ever once in a while. Will eat the blanket but never suckles it. She just turned 4.

I feel like I got the exception Doberman. He doesn’t stalk, he doesn’t suck on blankets, he doesn’t chatter his teeth. He is extremely outgoing and confident and isn’t an anxiety ridden stressful mess around new people or objects. He is an absolute menace tho 😂

Mine is only 1/2 Doberman but we had to work with her as a pup to stop the flank sucking. It took months.

One of the most fun (and expensive) lessons I've learned since getting my first dobie a year ago is that there's "chewproof" and then there's "DOBERPROOF" and those two things are NOT the same 😬

Chattering might also be a sign of micro seizures, epilepsy is very common to the breed.
