you missed the fact that Play's founders also ran Wow Air prior, which had the exact same low-cost Icelandic hub and spoke business model & failed in the same way in 2019, and that too came from the ruins of another airline known as Iceland Express which did the same thing from 2002 to 2012. Icelandair already does the hub and spoke thing pretty effectively
