Married my 18YO gf in 1973. I was 20. You speaking truth, young people today lack the ability to see beyond just today. Marriage is choosing a life partner. Most marriages today are about looks, or personality. Not about character, or intelligence. Our 52 years together we have endured hard financial times, burying my parents, her parents. Held her hand while she pushy three babies out of her body. Job changes, location changes. Illness, teenagers, grandchildren. If you chose a poor life partner that is on you.

Marriage is the dumbest trap a man can do. I’m married on the verge of divorce after our first and only child I ran to get a vasectomy. My wife only cares about our child our relationship is non existent. I know divorce is coming.
