As someone who has become the default IT person to all my elderly neighbors, the password book is a great idea. I have collectively spent hours watching them comb through scraps of paper looking for passwords so I could help them get their thermostat back online, "fix" their iPad, log into Netflix, you name it. I'm calling it a "help me help you" gift.
