being a model and photographer i really have no stance on this, ive been the model wanting free photos and ive been the photographer offering free - yes free isn’t better but if you love creating art it really is no different to you how much money your making, and that’s what separates the money grabbers from the actual artists. so yes free isn’t always better but in some cases it can be if the photographer is actually in it for the passion bc most cases the pics turn out amazing in that scenario and they still free (pic from a free shoot i offered)
