They conveniently leave out that if you’re coming into their store to buy then they aren’t paying the online marketplace fees to sell that item. Which should be an automatic 15% discount 😁

I feel like gold cards are a bad example of this. Buying gold cards at 80% is 440. Then you sell at 550. That’s 110 dollar profit. I feel like the higher the product it doesn’t really matter if you buying at higher percentage.

80% on those tanking gold cards are not a good buy for a shop IMO. people generally don't like those gold cards. probably will settle in the 250ish or below or close to thw crown zenith golds IMO after all is said and done

In The Netherlands all vendors buy for 70% cash/80% trade of marketprice yeah, but then when buying all their cards are priced 150% or higher of market price. why you telling me 70% of marketprice when you completely disregard marketprice when selling

the problem isnt the percentage, its the fact that resellers are even a thing. card shops would have 0 business if scalpers didnt take up 90% of the market on their own

safly ive been to store and they are trying to sell 125% above market and ive offered market and they wont take it and any more high end cards your better off sending to psa and taking the offer they give you which is usually 90 or above
