The State Capitol Building of Vermont is in the small town of Montpelier and looks like a building from Ancient Greece with a gold dome and a Greek Goddess Statue on the top of it. There's less than 500,000 people in the entire state... 😂

why dont people question these buildings like they do with the pyramids. I dont know what is bigger but they are both huge. These buildings seem way more impossible than a pile of rocks in the desert

The state capital of California was built in 13 years, during the Civil War. The population of the whole city was 13,000. Did everyone work on the capital? Why so many stairs at all these buildings??

as a former granite guy I know what it takes in todays tools. The bricks are an easy answer. Mudding them and fire baked has been a long time practice. But everything else that requires carving also needed polishing. Anybody can any idea how long that takes without diamond bit blades, power tools, or constant water????

Oh man, I live in southern Italy and see evidence of an old world all around me. Then there are post war buildings which are an abomination and to be honest most builders have absolutely no idea how to build anything beautiful anymore.
