Been through 2 rounds of interviews. 1st was online, 2nd was a face to face a panel and i had to present😫....i would say it went pretty good, felt good about it after. But this was 2 weeks ago and im dying with anxiety. even having bad dreams.

I was recruitered before the role was posted, went through 5 interviews, always getting prompt responses within 24 hours. Yesterday was my last interview with the dept head and I asked if he had any additional concerns and he said no I answered all his concerns. Today the recruiter promptly reached out to say unfortunately they won’t have final decisions till after new year… is that just stringing me along at this point or holiday delays?

Had my 3 round of interview last week sent a professional thank you email when talking to the hiring manager told me before ending teams i am going to be honest with you are my first interview but i will definitely keep you in mind. Sent another final follow up yesterday dead silence ugh.

Had an interview with talent recruiter, she said she would pass my information to hiring manager and would get back to me to schedule 2nd interview. It’s been 3 working days, how long is too long?

You demonstrate your enthusiasm, then two days later the client selects the other person in the final round...... The Candidate is just a commodity until their are not and the candidate gets dropped like a hot potato to start the whole process again with another recruiter.

I recently interviewed with a local nonprofit for a COO position. I completed three rounds of interviews (one with recruiter, one with CEO, and one with CEO and two board members). Last week I went on a 2.5 hour facilities tour (was supposed to be 1.5 hours). Had a great conversation with CEO afterwards. She allowed me to ask any questions, so I asked about anticipated salary, benefits, time off and expected work schedule/hours. Was more of a conversation and she said I even reminded her of a close friend. She did tell me to send her my references, that the next day was extremely busy, and then she’d be on vacation until 11/12 so to be patient if I don’t hear back right away (this was on 10/30). Does this sound promising to you? What are your thoughts? Any help or insight is appreciated.

well what if i had an interview on friday and she said shes gonna let me know after the weekend also telling me in details about the second round which is a meeting with hr but if shes not gonna do that then i should remind her and email her, so i emailed on tuesday but its silence and now its saturday…

I have had 3 interviews with hiring managers with different companies and it has been 3 weeks and haven't heard anything.No response to emails.Do those recruiters realize how it gets you false hopes when you want job desperately

Are these good signs? I had an interview with the hiring manager and when I was answering the questions, she was nodding her head up and down, smiling, saying very nice, very good and that’s very true… she also explained the role more, information about the company and benefits if I was chosen. The interview also lasted for about 40 minutes

Hiring manager reached out and asked if Im available for an interview 2nd round a specific date. I wrote yes, then radio silence! a week later I asked whats the status are we going to book? No I’ve already moved on with other candidates sorry. 🤯

I chased up the recruiter after 2 weeks, said i get I’ve not been successful as had no response, but asked for feedback to learn for next time, they said they’d contact the hiring manager, been another another 2 weeks still nothing!

Good to hear this. Experience wise I'm a perfect fit for this role. Waiting now (Friday 5pm) to hear about a 2nd interview with a task on Tuesday. Thinking I might not have made the cut otherwise I would have heard from them.
