@muffbun: shes so vulnerable with him, especially in evolutions 🥲 Rogue is not a simple character but xmen 97 BUTCHERED HER!! she is sweet and selfless, the entire point of the brotherhood arc was to show she regrets what happened and what she did, to show she could overcome her past and she DID in multiple comics. She became a leader for the xmen, a counselor, a mother, she overcame her powers and her adopted mother. Rogue grew so much as a person in each comic and they ruined her in one season. It makes me so sad to see all the hate she gets. :( she is a deeply hurt woman who most of the time is just scared of relationships with anyone since she couldn't control her powers in the first place. She has been used by the people who she assumed love her the most, taught from a young age that she isn't normal so she can't have relationships like other girls and when she finally meets someone she can touch she realises its not everything. Rogue and gambit don't need touch to love (even though its sweet seeing them witj children and married) they have such a deep connection that is unbreakable and means more to me than almost any couple in marvel. They love eachother endlessly even though their relationship has been SO rocky.
