I’m definitely not the person who excuses things because a guy is hot, and he obviously hurt Ruby here, but I do think there’s context to why he’s acting like this and it’s not just “he cheated!” He’s self destructing and hurting and doing this to hurt himself and those around him. And it’s up to Ruby if she wants to forgive something like that. But it’s also like, he wasn’t cheating because he loves someone else or he actually wants someone else over Ruby. That’s not the point of the plot.
