I don’t know about this, brother. Let’s look at the story of Nuh (A.S). He gave dawah to his people including his own family for 950 years. He never gave up until Allah revealed that no one else would believe except those who already had. Even when his own son rejected him, Nuh (A.S) kept calling him to the truth until the very end. But then Allah separated them, and when Nuh (A.S) said, “My Lord, my son is from my family,” Allah replied that he was not because his actions were unrighteous. So what we can take from this is that until the day we die, it’s an obligation upon us to keep giving dawah and trying to bring back those who’ve turned away from Allah. Guidance is in Allah’s hands, but our duty is never to stop calling them to Him.

Islam does not require parents to disown their children who leave the faith. • The fundamental duty is {Sillat al-Rahim} (maintaining kinship). Cutting ties is strongly discouraged. • The preferred Islamic approach is to treat them with kindness , maintain the relationship, and keep the door open through love and prayer. Let's not confuse personal or cultural anger with the Mercy and Wisdom of the Deen. That confusion is what gives Islam a harsh image it doesn't deserve.
