@shelby.wilburn: We recently found out that our son has a condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH)— it means part of his diaphragm didn’t form all the way, allowing some of his abdominal organs to move up into his chest. His CDH is on the right side, which is much more rare and can be more complicated. During the surgery, the doctors were able to carefully move his organs (like his stomach and intestines) back into his abdomen where they belong. His right lung also collapsed so we are praying with time that his lung will refill and be full again! It’s was big surgery for such a tiny body, but our little warrior had already shown so much strength. 💪🏻💛 We are trusting God every step of the way and believing that He’s holding our baby close through this journey. Please keep our family in your prayers— for strength, peace, and complete healing for our sweet boy.
