My house is paid off and too big for us as we are now empty nesters but I love our neighborhood and don’t really want to sell it. If I decide to sell, I won’t be in any hurry so I’ll accept my asking price or nothing because I’m happy to stay 🤷♀️

I made an offer on a house that had been vandalized (ripped out all electrical and stole the HVAC unit) $15k below asking. The house is now listed $30k below original asking after being on the market for almost a year 😂

Lmao we wanted to view a house, they wanted a preapproval, we got preapproved for 50 under the list price. We got denied a walk through IT WAS ON THE MARKET FOR 5 YEARS! It sold a year and a half later then sold again a year later. lol I think we lucked out

I’m currently shopping for a house and when I see a home on the market longer than 90 days I ask my realtor to find out about it. It’s almost always they won’t negotiate or they are horrible sellers to work with. And I always say ok next house 😂😂

if and when I meet a seller with "motivation" like many of the "sellers" in these comments, I politely let them know I can't meet their objectives and let someone else take a listing that won't sell.

I put mine just under the market value and got 6 offers with 5 over the asking price, I accepted one for 91K over asking. I was worried the appraisal will come back for less, but the bank approved it. Closing is soon.
