My husband’s a welder I used to think OxiClean powder was the best thing to use to wash his clothes then found that it leaves soot in my washer. Personally, I use the arm & hammer oxiclean liquid form somehow gets the blue collar mess while not destroying our washer. Idk why there’s such a difference in liquid and powder but I wish someone would have told me sooner.

You need a GE front loader with a microban! The microban helps with mold, smells, fungus and bacteria…it replaces the silicone seal of the washer and it’s also in the soap/softener spot!

Everyone has prob already said this but only use detergent. No beads, no softener, NONE OF THAT!!! And not too much detergent, only ever fill to the first line. Always leave open when not in use, & top loading washers are better than front loading :)

I think its soap stuck to the door, if something doesn't get washed correctly it sometimes has that texture too it so im assuming your door has soap that solidified

Pro-tip: if you put a splash of white distilled vinegar in your washer with your clothes, it acts like an odor remover, fabric softener, and semi-stain remover! And no, it doesn't make your clothes smell like vinegar, just don't use too much. A couple caps full should be plenty
