@denisemarieko: Chatted about food pantry volunteering a few times - this time I partnered up with @Levain Bakery in West Loop - they donated a few boxes of cookies today for staff & volunteers at the food pantry I volunteer at! It’s getting rougher at these pantries - longer lines, people not receiving benefits… it’s getting hard. This was a small way I could help (besides donating my time & goods) to the staff & other volunteers. I’m in the works with some other local food spots - but if you’re a Chicago restaurant or business & can donate for about 20-30 people that would be amazing.
