Tip #2 is not a good one. 95% of the time you’re playing on a diamond that is not in good shape and there are terrible hops. Secondly charging the ball means you get rid of it sooner making a better chance to get the runner at first or second

I play first with a 11 3/4 baseball glove and rest of the field with a 12 3/4 glove .
