@mymadfatdiary11: What you need: fabric (old clothes, canvas fabric), paper, pencil, paint brushes, paint, exacto 🔪/scissors Step 1: sketch/trace ur design Step 2: cut into boxes Step 3: tape over the design (optional) Step 4: carefully cut out design with exacto 🔪 Step 5: cut pieces of fabric from old clothes (don’t worry about the shape yet) Step 6: put the paper on top of the fabric and apply some tape Step 7: paint over the stencil (do multiple coats, wait to dry between each one) Step 8: remove stencil (the patch will be messy at this point, so you can use black paint to clean up the edges) Step 9: trim edges of patches #DIY #patches #upcycling #reducereuserecycle #art
