I'm a barista at Starbucks. My store makes about $50,000 a week and those numbers were not impacted when the boycott began. Given, I only have the perspective of one store, but I am highly confused why anyone thought the boycott was actually impacting Starbucks sales. Maybe the bearista cup was good for PR, but I see more people bashing Starbucks now than before anyway. Not to say that no one is doing this, but so many people view boycotting as a passive activity when really its a form of activism and should be treated as such. If you're not actively educating others, spreading the word, protesting, or anything else, you're not "boycotting" Starbucks, you're just not going.
