In moments like this, my heart feels heavy. Africans are learning Kung Fu and praising it, and it makes me deeply sad. I keep asking myself: why are we doing this? Why aren’t these things being practiced and valued in their own countries? They had these arts, yet history shows how they were humiliated and overpowered. And now we look up to what did not even save them.Sometimes I wonder are we really this lost? Is it wrong for me to question this? I feel sorrow, confusion, and shame. Africa, why is it always us? Lord, why? Why do we seem to abandon ourselves so easily?
So many of our cultures were lost broken beyond recovery. We never took the time to protect them. Why don’t we focus on what once belonged to us, especially if we want to learn art or wisdom?Instead, we learn things that do not solve our problems, things that do not heal our wounds or build our future. Why us? Why does it hurt this much? Ah… my heart is tired.never,we should keep dreaming okay
