Jesus died for us, he was beaten 39 times with a whip because 40 was considered a death penalty so Jesus could suffer even more. His flesh was not even on his body anymore, and he had to cary an 300 pound cross up a hill, and the cross wasn’t smooth, it was full of splinters. He was crucified and then he suffered 6 more hours on that cross before dying and separating himself from God to die for OUR sins. He rose from the dead 3 days later. And now whoever believes in him and has true genuine faith in him. Won’t perish but sha’ll have eternal joy with Jesus in heaven. Can i get an Amen?
