2.35 an hour is what the business pays them.they dont have a hourly wage they can live off of.they would like an hourly wage to put up with the B.S public.but instead your way of solving it is stiffing the worker who cant change the way it is.sounds just like something that makes a server give bad service.servers dont forget a stiffer and thus they will make your experience less pleasant every time they see you.facts from a former server.

You are correct.There should be a non tipping menu. With the added taxes and paperwork the prices should be about 35% higher. That amount would then go to the server minus the payroll accountants extra time and taxes.

I definitely agree some of those waiters just automatically assume that you should tip large in the service is terrible. The employers should be making it worthwhile for those waiters to give good service. The employers are the ones that are going to reap the benefits of return returning customers.
