Oishi has entered the chat 🍜🇯🇵 This tiny, cosy spot in Woodhouse has properly levelled up since they first opened — born from a husband-and-wife street food truck back in 2021, and now a warm little dine-in shop that feels like the kind of place you’d stumble across in Japan. No frills, just food made with love. Their takoyaki is fully homemade from scratch (yes, every little ball turned by hand), and it’s so good. You’ll also find okonomiyaki, Japanese curries, fried udon, donburi, karaage, and even soft-shell crab on the menu. Everything is cooked fresh, and loads of ingredients are sourced straight from Japan — so it tastes exactly how it should.
