@nicknamed.bree: 🥹 Avoidant discard tips. Write ✍🏻 that ✍🏻 down ✍🏻 ! These are 3 of the things I always tell my friends after an avoidant discard, bad breakup, or toxic relationship. Hold these reminders in your back pocket, remembering that the dismissive avoidant or fearful avoidant cannot offer you the attunement you need during no contact. Let yourself be sad, but don’t forget who you are & the beautiful gifts you had to offer! Insecure attachment styles definitely make life difficult, but their curse doesn’t have to feel like forever. #avoidant #dismissiveavoidant #avoidantdiscard #avoidantattachmentstyle #fyp
But how come only 3 months after leaving me he can do everything I asked for with a new partner but he denied me? We were together 3 1/2 years and he’s been with his new partner for 6 months and they’re doing everything I asked

I think the embarrassment comes from being so in love with something/someone that wasn’t real, and not understanding how you could be so easily fooled

Learning you’re a recovered FA explains so much. Your content just hits different! Truly appreciate the insight and care you bring to something so incredibly painful for so many. 🫶

I could never live with this for the rest of my life. It was only a year and it broke me. I can’t even imagine rest of my life.

Bree, i'm so glad i found your videos today. it's been 2 years since i was discarded and most days i feel like im over it but sometimes i want her back (she has me blocked everywhere lol) and i know deep down im terrified that this could happen again with someone new. framing what she did as weirdo behavior is helpful.

You don't know how helpful this is for me! I love hearing from healed avoidants like you because you have so much insight from that attachment style!

how do they stop being an avoidant? I still don't understand how someone can remove you from their life on a random day after spending years together without issues and not want to discuss anything about it
