In many countries where Sharia law is interpreted and applied strictly and literally, women are treated as less valuable than men, legally, socially, and personally. (Women have Limited Freedoms, Clothing and Control Over Women’s Bodies, Court and Legal System unjustice, Inheritance and Property unfairness, Forbidding Education and Work, Daily Violence and Fear etc!) In theory, Sharia claims to promote justice and morality but in many places where it is applied strictly, it controls, silences, and punishes women. It restricts their freedom, limits their education, and makes them dependent on men in almost every aspect of life. Instead of protecting women, it often becomes a tool of oppression and control. Shariah laws is all about what man wants !
