I think it should be illegal to market and sell dangerous goods. I can’t believe someone sold you a recalled baby bouncer. And the car seat shouldn’t have been purchasable.

Maybe it was my mom anxiety but I SEARCHED UP EVERYTHING before I had a baby. I wanted to be safe!! Would even leave her with a bottle on her own in case she choked!!

I read books, took classes, watched videos and still MISSED SOME THINGS! It’s not a maternal instinct , it’s about community. We live in a new society where things are constantly changing so our elders recommendations aren’t always up to date and every toy mass produced around us is constantly being recalled. Being a good mom means looking at your mistakes and learning from them, Not knowing everything all at once!! We are practically thrown into motherhood with no guidance, I can relate to most of these. I’d Google everything and text my mom friends when I wasn’t sure about stuff. You’re a good mom, it gets easier.
