@shilpy.jain.p: Foods you think are “High in Fibre” vs Foods that are actually High in Fibre!!! 🥜 A bowl of almonds has about 4–5g fibre per 100g, whereas just 2 tablespoons of chia seeds pack around 10g fibre! 🍇 A bunch of grapes (about 200g) gives 2–3g fibre, but 1 medium apple gives around 4g — nearly 4× more! 🍌 One banana has roughly 3g fibre, while one avocado has 10g — over 3× more! 🍚 A bowl of cooked brown rice (100g) offers 1.6–2g fibre, whereas one bowl of cooked quinoa has 5g fibre. Most often, we think that just because we’ve eaten salad or we’ve eaten a fruit, we have gotten enough fibre from it. But, that’s usually not the case.
