Why buy a diesel car if it's not a van? Fuel economy isn't a reason either or towing capacity. For a regular driving diesel is the worst. Only issues especially on new ones. pre 90's diesels are fine

Honestly, its the most annoying thing like really? Once yours is done regenerating, does the engine tone change to a higher one then when you press the accelerator the revs drop back to normal?

highway speeds have too much air cooling of engine on higher speeds. dpf cant reach adequate temp for regen. so when you get off from highway there are slower driving and dpf tegen can start as it is full. try driving at 4th speed 3000rpm last few km and it will start.
