My mom is a hair stylist and here‘s what she told me: 1. NEVER use cold water to wash your hair. It dries it out even more. 2. Always shampoo multiple times. I have a really oily scalp and I wash my hair 4 times AT least (just until it feels clean). 3. buy a wide comb for under the shower. 4. use a scalp massager. It stimulates the blood flow which benefits hair growth and it prevents the scalp from getting oily. 5. first hair mask then conditioner. ALWAYS. 6. always apply hair oil to wet hair if it gets oily fast. It‘ll help absorb the water better into the scalp. (By the way hair gets oily when it’s too dry. That’s why you put the oil in the wet hair) 7. always use a heat protector.
