Did you know if a bulb goes out and the whole strand goes out, if you dont have another bulb you can just crumple up a piece of tinfoil and shove in the socket to complete the current and your lights will work again

Gah. Yeah, it was my job as an 7yo assistant to test lights and find the broken ones and tell dad how many replacements we needed (back when one bad light took out the whole strand 🤣)
