Baby it’s ppl on section 8 paying 1300 in rent and section 8 helping them pay $65 … there is low income housing that’s based off your income .. ppl on section 8 ain’t always lazy ppl sitting in the house

but disabled elderly people make up almost half of the occupancy in section 8 so where should they go? I fear section 8 is so much more complex than people think. There is a harmful stereotype that classifies people that use this resource as “lazy” and “unemployed” which is not the case. Yes some people are scamming the system but there’s a lot of people who struggle.
