dont ever buy a vise from harbor frieght mine cracked 4 times the jaw fell off had to weld it back on although it was stronger once welded it still broke absolute garbage

The one it should not be mounted just to plywood. The second major thing is that that vice should be mounted closer To the edge of the table So the jaws are able to hang over

The 2 locks on the swivel is the way to go. It really suck when you don’t want to your vice to swivel and it does anyway.
