My mother made one of these from absolute scratch maybe in 1979/1980. I can’t remember the year, but I remember I broke one of the bases before it was fired. I was maybe 6-8. I still have the tree. It is decorated with the red birds.

I was blessed to get my Mom Mom’s tree handed down but there’s a chip missing at the top which I just turn to the back & the top row & star don’t light up. I’ve thought about trying to drill a bit in those openings to open up for more light but worry if it will crack it. This has got to be from the 70’s…🎄🌟

My family all fought over my Grandma's Tree. I was so heartbroken that I didn't get it, so I found a place and painted my own, then went back to pick out lights after the firing. I can pass down my own ceramic tree now! Maybe I'll be petty and say it's their Great Grandma's.

I have my parents now that they’ve passed. My mom made it in the early 80s. That and her ceramic Mr and Mrs Claus. I cherish them ❤
