Agnes Tachyon is widely considered the best Japanese racehorse that never was. Only ran 4 races, won all of them overwhelmingly, and retired early due to an injury. He’s often referred to as a Phantom Triple Crown, as the horses he defeated went on to win races like the Arima Kinen and Japan Cup. He is, in my opinion, the biggest what-if in Japanese horseracing.
