They already shouldn’t have turned but oh my god at that point hit the GAS and not the brake!!! I can’t stand when people’s first instinct in any new situation on the road is to slam on their brakes. Take control of the situation it’s not going to handle itself!

This is why I tend to just wait for green on the yield lights sometimes you can’t gauge how fast oncoming traffic is

Man was going speed of traffic, easily. The yellow arrow blinking probably mirrors what the minivan driver was probably seeing (so not a solid green). Failure to yield on flashing yellow arrow.

I was in a similar situation one time and the guy in the turning lane literally flipped me off even though I had a green light while he most likely had either a yellow arrow or green light (not arrow) in which technically when you have either of those on a turning lane you’re SUPPOSED to yield before you go and he ALMOST didn’t yield to me 💀

crazy part is if he shouldn't have turn but if he had just slammed the gas, he would've made it. what did he think was gonna happen by slamming the brakes? he just made it more dangerous for both drivers 🤦‍♀️
